What is Alabama Home Builders Licensure Board continuing education?

Every years, contractors whom are licensed under the Alabama Home Builders Licensure Board (AHBLB), must complete six (6) hrs of approved continuing education courses in order to be able to renew their licenses. The six (6) hours consists of approved courses and must include two (2) approved credit hours in at least one of the following areas specific to Alabama: contracts, business organizations and law, financial management, consumer/customer relations and management, State of Alabama Home Builders Licensure Law and Regulations and Risk Management: Avoiding Common Violations

What can Alabama continuing education do for you?

Only approved continuing education through the AHBLB may be used to satisfy the six (6) hrs of continuing education required. Upon completion the AHBLB will be notified of the licensee's completion. The licensee will then be able to renew his or her license with the state of Alabama.
